ABOUT THE SUMMIT

Our Life Sciences Private Capital team set out on a mission to fill an existing health gap in the Gulf. Relative to the West, the Arab population faces a far higher prevalence in many life-threatening diseases, such as cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease. These patients have limited access to medicines and are vastly underrepresented in clinical trials.

We believe the groundwork is in place for major cities in the Gulf to emerge as global healthcare hubs, flipping the script on the local patient health paradigm. But critical gaps remain. In conjunction with local authorities, we hope to change this story.

Our Life Sciences Innovation Summit invites top-caliber, early-stage biotechnology entrepreneurs to apply to pitch to a panel of judges. At the event, participants will hear from industry speakers, winner(s) will be selected, and all attendees will have the opportunity to connect with prominent investors in the region.

 

OUR UPCOMING EVENT

After hosting a successful inaugural 2024 event in Abu Dhabi, we are thrilled to announce our 2nd Life Sciences Innovation Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Event details are as follows:

  • The event will be hosted by J.P Morgan Life Sciences Private Capital and invites industry leaders, investors and global biotech entrepreneurs to attend.
  • Our ultimate goal is to help seed the growth of the emerging scientific hub in Riyadh.
  • The selected finalists will be provided the opportunity to build relationships with our team and other regional investors to fuel their growth.
